The Studio
The studio is fully digital and based around Cubase 5 and Pro Tools 8 recording and editing software running on our Carillon AC1 machines.
In 2010 we made the leap to a 'mixerless' or fully 'in the box' studio. All audio is recorded directly to hard disc. Our on board processing and effects arsenal is extensive and high end.
Longview boasts a comfortable and intimate control room which has a spacious vocal booth adjoined with visual access via a large, sound sealed window. Our main live room is a very comfortable 400 square feet with a dedicated 180 square feet drum booth adjacent to it. Both these rooms enjoy natural day light.
The live area, which doubles as our rehearsal room, easily accomodates live bands up to 7 piece, seated acoustic players (dance bands, string orchestra etc) up to 12. One of our regular clients is a 30 strong choir who are easily accommodated in the light and airy room.
Whether you are looking to create a demo or full 'release quality' product, you will find it difficult to beat the value offered by this family owned and run facility. In fact, we'd rather you called us last!! We know you wont get a better deal anywhere!!
Longview Studio carry an extensive range of Instruments and equipment that is available, free of charge, to studio clients.
